Hi, I'm Nia. I'll teach you real Saigon Vietnamese.
I'm a native Vietnamese speaker born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City. I have 3 years of experience teaching English to Vietnamese children and 2 years of teaching Vietnamese to foreigners from all over the world.
I started teaching Vietnamese because I noticed something frustrating: most of my foreign friends who tried to learn Vietnamese were being taught the northern accent even though they were living in Saigon. They sounded strange to locals, got confused responses, and eventually gave up.
I want to change that. My lessons focus on the authentic southern accent, the way we actually speak on the streets of Saigon, with the culture, the slang, and the warmth that makes Vietnamese such a beautiful language.
